Network for the Advancement of Manufacturing Excellence (N.A.M.E.)

Why Create a SE Indiana N.A.M.E.?

  • Manufacturing is the leading employment sector in the region, offering significant opportunities for growth in well-paying jobs.
  • Regional manufacturers have common needs, particularly in regard to a workforce well prepared for current and future business requirements.
  • A cohesive regional group of manufacturers will have more leverage than an individual firm to influence key initiatives and decisions.

N.A.M.E. Mission

Regional manufacturers and educators will work collaboratively to ensure that top quality education programs are readily available and utilized to produce a well qualified workforce for the Southeast (SE) Indiana manufacturing industry. N.A.M.E. will also provide an effective forum for regional businesses to improve their processes and to advance their industry.

N.A.M.E. Vision

Southeast Indiana will be viewed as the best place in the nation for manufacturers to conduct business because of the availability of qualified people, excellent education programs, and an environment in which companies can share best practices and focus on constant business process improvement and industry advancement.
