Dream it. Do it. wins accolades at Florida gala

“Dream it. Do it. Southeast Indiana” recently was selected as winner of two awards at the 2009 Progressive Manufacturing Awards Gala in Sarasota, Fla.

The Columbus-based program was awarded the “Progressive Manufacturing 100 Award” and the “Education and Training Mastery Award.”

More than 200 manufacturing executives attended the fifth annual event, which honors industrial and manufacturing programs throughout the country.

“Dream it. Do it. Southeast Indiana” is sponsored by Economic Opportunities through Education 2015, also called EcO15.

EcO15 aims to advance manufacturing workers throughout Southeast Indiana to help boost the economy and share innovative ideas through educational facilities.

They also fund programs to improve healthcare services and hospitality and tourism in Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties.
