EI-AHEC Executive Director Position Open!

                   EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
     for Area Healthcare Education Center
     for Eastern Indiana (EI-AHEC)

Make a difference! Opportunity to establish, lead and grow a newly formed AHEC for 14 counties in Eastern Indiana.

Working with educators, healthcare executives and professionals, and community/political leaders, the Executive Director will develop and implement education programs for current and potential healthcare providers.

Healthcare career educational scope ranges from K-12 through doctorate education levels as well as internships and residencies. Heavy emphasis on utilizing technology to collect and disseminate healthcare education/career information throughout area.Based in Batesville, Indiana; travel to 14 Eastern Indiana counties.

Ideal candidate will have a Baccalaureate Degree in Healthcare Management, Health Education or related field; 3-5 years education experience- preferably in health and/or adult education; and a record of success in program implementation, grant-writing and fundraising leadership. Must have strong interpersonal & group presentation communication skills, analytical skills, management skills, and proven ability to utilize technology to manage information/communications through web-based networks.
