Southeast Indiana EcO15 Talent Showcase
The EcO15 Regional Council supported the first ever Southeast Indiana EcO15 Talent Showcase. The Showcase highlighted the wonderful projects/initiatives that have been created or expanded in the career fields that drive our regional economies: Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare and Hospitality/Tourism.
Attendees benefitted from a unique combination of presentations and student demonstrations:
- EcO15 regional overview of current work, results to date, and vision for the future
- Faculty, students, and the region's hospital representatives conducted live demonstrations using high-fidelity
simulation mannequins
- Demonstration projects from elementary, middle and high school students involved in advanced manufacturing
educational programs such as- Project Lead The Way (pre-engineering) and Bio-Med, Gateway to
Technology, Lego Robotics Leagues, and Super Mileage vehicles
- Food catered by students who completed the Skills, Tasks and Results Training (START) course. START
prepares students for hospitality and tourism careers
- Results of an independent EcO15 mid-course evaluation conducted with great participation from key
stakeholders throughout the region
